Phase 2 Orthodontics for Teens
Ages 13 - 18
Not every child will require early orthodontic treatment; while some benefit from Phase 1 treatment to address developing concerns, many begin treatment during their teenage years.
If required, Phase 1 treatment may include palatal expanders, braces, or Invisalign First® to guide jaw development and create space for incoming permanent teeth. In some cases, early treatment can simplify future orthodontic care.
Once the permanent teeth have erupted, Phase 2 treatment focuses on aligning the teeth, refining the bite, and creating a healthy, functional smile.
At Cory Liss Orthodontics, we offer braces, Invisalign® clear aligners, Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs), and, when appropriate, surgical orthodontics. We'll recommend the treatment option that's best suited to your teen's orthodontic needs and long-term goals.
