Guidance for Growing Smiles

At Cory Liss Orthodontics, we take a conservative approach to early orthodontic treatment. We only recommend treatment for younger children when it offers a clear benefit for their developing smile.

If treatment isn't needed yet, your child will become part of our complimentary Growth Guidance Program. During regular checkups, Dr. Liss monitors how their teeth and jaws are developing to determine if or when orthodontic treatment may be beneficial.

During Growth Guidance appointments, we monitor:

Oral habits, including thumb sucking, tongue thrusting and mouth breathing
Early or late loss of baby teeth
Difficulty chewing or biting
Crossbites
Smile concerns your child may be experiencing

As your child's smile develops, we'll be there to monitor their progress, answer your questions, and celebrate each milestone along the way.
